Google.org is committing $25M to fund charitable projects that use AI to accelerate progress towards the UN's Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, and applications are now open for nonprofits, social enterprises and public or private academic or research institutions around the world to apply for funding.

Grant opportunity for nonprofits, social enterprises promoting healthy aging (deadline: Feb. 15, 2023)

The Fit for Life Foundation is awarding grants of EUR 100,000 each to three to four nonprofit organizations or social enterprises from around the world that are promoting healthy aging.

The mission and activities of the organization or projects must directly address healthy aging for older (65+ years) or middle-aged people (45+ years). Solutions relevant to physical fitness, exercise and sport, mental health, mental well-being, nutrition, at-home care, community support for older people, prevention of non-communicable diseases, and other forms of preventive health support are welcome.

Preparing for Upward Mobility leadership conference, Dec. 8 to 10

Plus Consulting Career Club (PCCC) is excited to announce its 2022 annual leadership conference, "Preparing for Upward Mobility in the Post-COVID Era," which will take place from December 8 to 10 at Montgomery College's Rockville Campus in Maryland, USA.

The three-day event aims to bring together the country's top African/Black professionals and immigrants with foreign degrees who are particular about building upward mobility in their careers and sphere of influence.

Featured speakers will present mentorship discussions on the directional pathway for preparing for upward mobility and on the impact of technology and leadership on career growth in the coming decades.

U.S.-based NGOs invited to apply to free business bootcamp for fall 2022 (deadline: Sept. 1)

U.S.-based NGOs that are less than five years old are invited to apply to a free business bootcamp that will be launched this October by the Applied Value Group, a global management consultancy, investment, and social impact group.

The program will deliver comprehensive trainings on five foundational business concepts:

* governance and management principles
* strategic goal setting
* budget development
* branding and social media
* performance tracking

It will run for 10 weeks and require a low commitment, averaging around 1 hour per week.
