The official language of the conference is English. However, a concurrent translation in French will be available during the event.

The 2010 WANGO Africa Conference is the second edition of a WANGO regional conference/retreat to be held in Africa. Tagged Kenya 2010, this biennial event is to serve as the leading voluntary and membership meeting for over 200 representatives/members of NGOs, government, business and support agencies in the region and beyond. It will address issues crucial to the growth and development of the humanitarian sector in sub-Saharan Africa and the world at large.
The conference is also to serve as a rallying point for NGO activities and centerpiece of the Association’s activities in the region, professional development, sustainable development programmes as well as corporate social engagement in the efforts towards active volunteerism. Participants are provided a unique opportunity to acquire the mechanism and support needed to network, brainstorm, and share innovative ideas that assist in the management of their NGOs towards multiply their inputs in solving humanity basic problems.
