Among these are our widely used Worldwide NGO Directory; Wiki-based NGO Handbook; NGO News e-newsletter and other publications; and a member portal, which contains a number of useful features for members, including the Sharing Resources and Multiplying Resources sections as well as the Membership List.
Code of Ethics and Conduct for NGOs
The Code of Ethics and Conduct for NGOs is WANGO's signature initiative to strengthen and improve the non-governmental sector. It is used by NGOs worldwide to help guide them in ethically and transparently governing their operations. NGOs can assess whether their policies and practices are currently in alignment with the Code by utilizing the Compliance Manual, an accompanying tool.
WANGO has conducted and co-sponsored conferences, symposia, and seminars in over 133 countries, as well as 12 major international conferences, since its founding.
