While all members of WANGO belong to the international body, they may also organize themselves into national chapters, in order to address regional concerns, facilitate intra-state networking, and coordinate national activities.
Chapter membership is restricted to organizations and individuals who are members of the international Association. Only one national chapter is allowed per nation, and all members of WANGO in that nation are automatically members of the chapter and have the right to vote for officers of the national body.
For nations without chapters, national representatives have been appointed to facilitate communications with the international secretariat and to verify the merit of applicants for membership. Regional coordinators for Asia, Europe, Africa, Western Asia and Northern Africa, Europe, North America, and Latin America facilitate communications between the international body and the members in those regions.
National and sub-regional chapters have a lot of autonomy. However, they must follow certain parameters to be established and in their activities, as specified in the Bylaws. Information on chapter formation, requirements and policies, as well as the benefits of establishing a chapter, is located in the Members Only Section.
