. . . . . Drastically reduce the level of illiteracy in Africa

Operations

In collaboration and consultations with stakeholders such as government at all levels, community heads and leaders in the society ZIP will identify Extremely Disadvantaged Areas (EDAs), usually sub-urban and rural locations, as project centers (PC). The sites will advance to urban areas as the program develops. Such centers may include, but are not limited to, public buildings, social centers, town halls, NGO offices and other donated spaces. And for a successful implementation of the program, ZIP will employ the services of volunteers drawn from local and international NGOs, in addition to using local mentors within each community to power and service it through the following.

  • Teaching/training
  • Facilitating
  • Mentoring
  • Monitoring
